"Walking me home." It's somehow a harder request than asking for extra rounds in the grass. She can fuck anyone, though; she has never been walked home by anyone but him.
Sweeney's smile comes easily, though there's a faint dose of honesty in his voice.
"I'll see ya get it on the regular," he assures her. He can't promise it all the time, of course, but he'll see about getting it for her often. Hopefully, that will be enough.
He flexes to give her hand a squeeze and starts down the hall.
She'd normally fill the space with chatter, but he's worn her into an easy, peaceful quiet. When they reach her door she still kisses him nice and slow, though. "Tonight was perfect."
It's strange to see her so quiet. Not bad, just weird. Like a mirror of the quiet he can find when being with her.
Sweeney answers her kiss, then glances to the door and back. "I'm glad ta be able ta get ya somethin' nice." He lifts his hand to tuck her hair behind her ear, letting his fingertips trace back down over her Mark. He smiles as his gaze dips to it for a moment before returning to her face.
"Somethin' I hope leads ta other nice things fer ya."
"Gonna make sure you get to share them with me." She wishes she could pull him inside--not in the frantic, lust-fueled way she'd wanted the last few times they were here. She just wants to keep him near a little longer, wants to fall asleep somewhere safe and she feels safe with him.
But he has a warden to see, and she has a pack to meet in a few hours. "Happy New Year."
"You too." He gives a quick nod and tips his head towards the door.
"Ya best be gettin' inside if ya wanna get cleaned up." For Godric. For the others, if she's looking to get a jump on anything. He isn't sure how much she wants to dump on them at one time. A dark welt is a bit different than her reeking of him.
